Former ‘01 East Coast Selects-Q forward Arthur Kaliyev also hit a milestone for the OHL season. The 11th-ranked North American prospect by NHL’s Central Scouting, Kaliyev became the first player in Hamilton Bulldogs history to score 50 goals in a single season.
OHL overager Tye Felhaber reached the 100-point plateau for the ‘18-19 season last week. The ‘98 East Coast Selects-Q alum has 276 points in 305 career OHL games and also signed an entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
In other OHL news, Jacob Murray earned East Division Academic Player of the Month honors with a 92.5% average. The ‘02 East Coast Selects-O alum has appeared in 52 games during his first season on the blue line for the Kingston Frontenacs.
Alexis Gravel earned QMJHL Goaltender of the Month after posting a 6-1-0 record. The former East ‘00 Coast Selects-Q netminder compiled a 1.29 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage in February, as the Halifax Mooseheads are first place in the Eastern Conference.
U.S. National Team Development Program (USNTDP) defenseman Domenick Fensore was named among three Players of the Week in the USHL. The former ‘01 Jr. Selects defender scored a goal and added five assists in three games.
