USA Hockey released its 2019 U.S. National Junior Team Preliminary Roster, listing nine former Selects players among the 29 invited to camp scheduled to begin later this month.

Current NCAA athletes and former ‘00 East Coast Selects-O teammates Mattias Samuelsson (Western Michigan University) and Joel Farabee (Boston University) were invited along with former ‘99 West Coast Selects teammates Logan Cockerill (Boston University) and Josh Norris (University of Michigan). Boston College freshman and former ‘00 East Coast Selects-Q forward Oliver Wahlstrom was also among current college players named to the preliminary roster.

Additional ‘99 WCS alumi and current CHL players Joey Keane (Barrie Colts), Kyle Keyser (Oshawa Generals) and Sasha Chmelevski (Ottawa 67’s) will also make their case for a WJC roster spot along with the youngest player invited to camp, former ‘01 East Coast Selects-Q goaltender Spencer Knight (USNTDP U-18).
