The purpose of Girls' Selects Showcase is to unite the best NCAA coaches and the most elite female hockey players from across North America and Europe to work together on the ice for 2 practices (one skill-development and one team-concepts practice) led by the coaches, as well as coaching instruction during in-game scrimmages. In 2017, the Selects Showcase Camp featured more than 35 Division-I NCAA coaches. The goal is to give our Selects players a platform to perform in front of as many women's college hockey programs as possible.
The Girls' Select Showcase Camp is an individual sign-up event and housing is not provided. Registrants will be placed on a team with other players from the United States and Canada. Teams will have a skill-development session and one team practice run by NCAA coaches before jumping into games. When games commence, NCAA coaches will rotate among teams throughout the showcase event, meaning players will have the opportunity to be on the bench with a total of at least 10 different coaches from premier programs.
