The U.S. National Team Development Program (USNTDP) released a list of 42 players set to compete for Team USA at this year’s World Junior Summer Showcase in Kamloops, British Columbia later this summer. Among them are 14 former Selects players participating in this week-long camp which will include 11 international competitions between Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States.

Spencer Knight and Keith Petruzzelli are among the goalies listed while Joe Keane, Tommy Miller and Mattias Samuelsson are among the defensemen. For the forwards, Logan Cockerill, Paul Cotter, Joel Farabee, Jon Gruden, Logan Hutsko, Grant Mismash, Josh Norris, Oliver Wahlstrom and Jake Wise are in the group of 24 forwards.

Players in this group are participating as an audition for a spot on the U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2019 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2018, through Jan. 5, 2019, in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia.

Led by Minnesota State University head coach Mike Hastings, the 2019 U.S. National Junior Team evaluation process begins with this list of players and will continue into the fall season.
