Selects Hockey is pleased to introduce the Renegades Selects Girls Skills & Development program to York Region (based in Aurora, ON). The Renegades program is dedicated to developing female hockey players to their highest potential both on and off the ice with a balanced emphasis on individual skill sets, specialty clinics and tournament play (optional).
Selects Hockey continues to be a leader in the advancement of female hockey. This spring, we will be training players at the 1997-2002 birth years. Our development program consists of:
20 plus total hours of professional on-ice instruction
'Skills Challenge Day' program kick-off
8 individual on-ice Sunday Skills sessions (14+ hours of ice)
Power-Skating & Skills Clinic with skating coach Graeme Townshend of the Toronto Maple Leafs (6 hours)
Specialized Goaltending training during each on-ice session
Off-ice training with stickhandling skills & coordination circuit, age-specific dryland training, cooperative games and more...
Professional coaches plus current and/or NHL Alumni guest instruction
Detailed player evaluation identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement
Exposure to the elite Selects Hockey program
Expanded schedule of competitive tournaments in great destinations and the opportunity to play with Cougars Selects players from across North America (tournaments are optional, additional fees apply)
