» 17 players (2 G, 6 D & 9 F) will be selected directly from the tryout to participate in our first event of 2008, the 1891 World Hockey Cup - Stockholm, Sweden.
» Tryout participants will also have the opportunity to be scouted for Selects Hockey tournament teams in 2008 and beyond. Players invited to Sweden will not necessarily be invited to North American tournaments as well.
» Players invited to our NA tournaments may choose to do any/all events listed in the 2008 schedule below.
Players are selected based on their performance in three highly competitive scrimmage games. The evaluation committee is an independent panel consisting of Selects Hockey staff, NCAA coaches, and Junior level coaches and scouts.

Selects Hockey has prescreened and negotiated preferred rates at the following hotels. These hotels are of good value and in excellent proximity to the arena. When making reservations, you need to advise the reservation agent that you need the "Selects Hockey Tryout " rate:
Player must be rostered and playing on a AAA winter team (exception to Quebec players where there is no AAA - for Quebec players, all must be rostered AA players.
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE THE MOST COMPETITIVE TRYOUT POSSIBLE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY A PLAYERS APPLICATION FOR ANY REASON WE DEEM APPROPRIATE. IF THIS IS TO HAPPEN ALL DEPOSITS WILL BE REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY.
