January 1st, 2003 -

Nick is one of 65 players that attends the East Coast Selects '89 tryouts in Voorhees, NJ.  Nick is selected a team captain based on his leadership and play at the tryouts. 

 

 

 

April 2003 -

Nick and his selected teammates travel to Stockholm, Sweden in April of 2003 and win the Stockholm International Youth Trophy.

Spring 2003 -

In the 2003 season Nick lead the East Coast Selects '89's to the championship game at every tourney attended.

Spring 2004 -

The East Coast Selects 89 team wins 2 tourneys (Montreal Mission Cup and ECS 89 Summit) and are finalists at the Jr. Chowder Cup and Quebec Bulldogs tournament.

Spring 2005 -

In ECS 89's final season team gets to finals in Mission Cup NAPS and finishes in the Quarter Finals at Prospects.

2006 & 2007 -

Nick plays 2 seasons with the Omaha Lancers of the USHL and commits to Boston College after being selected in the first round by the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL.

June 22nd, 2007 -

Nick is selected in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks.
