Travis Howe

Travis Howe began his playing career with the Philadelphia Little Flyers. In 1992, he moved to Detroit and spent 3 years with the Little Caesars & Compuware Midget AAA organizations.

Travis is currently the managing director of Power Play International (The Gordie Howe Foundation).  Prior to that,  Travis served as the Head Coach of the Syracuse Stars Jr. A team (Syracuse, NY). He formally was the Coaching Coordinator for the Flyers Youth Hockey Club and was the Hockey Director at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ which is the practice facility for the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers and AHL's Philadelphia Phantoms. He has also run coaches workshops for USA Hockey. Travis has spent many hours scouting with his father Mark Howe (who is a Pro Scout for the Detroit Red Wings).

He is the grandson of Gordie Howe, the son of Mark Howe (former NHL player), and the nephew of Marty Howe (former NHL player and current Chicago Wolves Asst. Coach of AHL). Travis currently resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Steve Dubinsky


After a career at Clarkson University that saw him score 152 points in 140 collegiate games, Steve went on to play 10 seasons in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues.

Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Steve is currently the director of the Glacier Hockey Zone, Chicagos premier year round hockey skills training facility.  Steve is also the coaching director of the Cougars youth hockey organization, a nationally recognized youth hockey program based in Chicago.

John St-Pierre

Originally from Montreal, John played his college hockey career at the University of Maine and the University of Southern Maine.

John was an assistant coach with the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League from 1996-1998.  In 1996 and 1997 John was the Head Coach of the Maine All State Juniors and coached the team in the Hannige Junior cup in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1997, John was also the Head Coach for the Midwest Selects (Best 16-18 year old players in the Midwest) in the Czech Challenge Cup in Prague, Czech Republic.

John is currently an Eastern US/Canada scout for the International Scouting Service and currently works with several NCAA, CHL and US prep school scouting staffs. John has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is currently the partner of The Rhombus Group, Inc a nationwide outsourced service company based in Philadelphia

Joe Templin

Joe grew up in Lebanon, PA and played his youth hockey as a goaltender in the Hershey Junior Bears organization through Midgets.  He joined the University of Scranton Royals varsity hockey team in 1994 while pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (1998).   

Joe began his coaching career in 1999 with Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA) working with their Jr. Varsity program.  In 2001, he started coaching with the Flyers Youth organization (NJ) where he coached for several years at the Bantam age level and also served as the goaltending instructor for the entire organization.   He also provides private goalie instruction in locations across southern New Jersey.

As a co-founder of Howe Hockey Development, Joe currently is the head scout and recruiter for Selects Hockey.  He is additionally an Eastern USA/Canada scout with International Scouting Services (ISS).  Joe currently resides in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Travis Bezio

Travis Bezio, CPA is currently the managing partner for BSP, LLC Consulting firm in Burlington, Vermont

Travis, originally from Milton, VT played collegiate hockey for the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine.  Travis finished his playing career at USM setting nearly every offensive scoring record in school history, records that still stand today.  Travis also played a season for KALIX HK of the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation.

Following his playing career, Travis was the head coach at South Portland High School in Maine, leading his team to new victory records each of his three seasons there.  Travis was a multiple time coach of the year nominee in the Maine Headmasters Association.

Additionally, Travis is a veteran instructor at numerous junior hockey schools and camps.

Kjell Aigner

 

Kjell is well educated and trained within Swedish youth hockey via the Hockey federation he has several diplomas;  Step 1 and 2 on ice, theory and physician HUT-Higher Youth Training diploma.   This together allows him to practice up to junior 20 elite level in Sweden.

 

Kjell has an extensive and successful experience as coach during the last 10 years,

within teams like Djurgården, Flemingsberg and MB Hockey.  He is now heading Nacka Team 93 as well as 92  He is co-founder and Director of A3 Hockey.  Prior to A3 he was on the board for MB Hockey, divisional 1 association.

 

His playing career was with the MB Hockey vets.  Kjell will serve as the co-coach for the World Selects 93 team with Travis Howe in April

Jeff Todd

Jeff is a recent MBA graduate from the Canadian Royal Military College.  In 2004-05, Jeff was assistant captain of the Royal Military College of the Canadian Division I University League.  He led his team to the successful season in its schools history.
Jeff has been a scout for several Ontario Jr A programs over the past few years and has been a head instructor with the Roger Neilson Hockey Camps.

Matt Barth

Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Matt played his youth hockey with the Fargo North Raiders.  Matt also played two years of junior hockey, at the Junior B and Junior A levels, respectively.

Following his junior stint, Matt became the Michigan Scout for the Binghamton Jr. B Senators in 2003 and 2004.  Following his work in Binghamton, Matt was hired as the Michigan Scout for the Syracuse Stars of the Eastern Junior Hockey League.  Matt worked for the Syracuse program in 2005 and 2006 before coming to the Selects program in August 2006.

Matt is a Behavioral Science major at Grand Valley State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he currently resides.

David Pavlik

David Pavlik, a native of the Czech Republic, played his youth hockey for HC Moeller in Pardubice.  He continued playing in Czech through Junior AAA as a member of the Czech Junior National Team.  David chose to pursue opportunities in professional hockey and immigrated to the United States at the age of 18.   Before injuries ended his playing career, he played in Europe, Russia and North America.  In 2006, David relocated from Tampa Florida to Vermont.  Now focusing on coaching youth hockey, David is the founder and head coach of Vermont Flames Hockey, a summer hockey school dedicated to developing the abilities of players in Central Vermont and surrounding areas.

Kristi Alcorn

Kristi grew up playing her youth hockey in Ontario. She received a scholarship to university where she played 5 years of Div I hockey at Quinnipiac University, where she lead the team as head Captain for 2 consecutive years.

Kristi has also been successful with a career in lacrosse, where she played for both team Ontario and Team Canada, winning a bronze medal at the World Cup in 2003.  She received several recognitions including: Ontario rookie of the year, and most defensive player.

Kristi has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Relations.  She is currently completing her M.B.A.  Kristi is currently working for The Hill Academy in Ontario where she is the Director of Women’s Lacrosse and a scout for the Women's Hockey Program.

Mitch Larnerd

Mitch Larnerd currently resides in West Berlin, New Jersey, where he works for Campbell Soup Company, where he has been employed for the past nine years.

Mitch has been coaching for seven years at the Flyers Youth Program and he has coached at the Midget Minor AA level.  Mitch was the Head Coach for the East Coast Cougars '96 and '97 last year and an assistant coach for the East Coast Selects '93 team. 

Previously, Mitch worked for four years under VladislavTretiak as a Head Goalie Instructor and was an Assistant Coach with the Flyers Youth Program under Keith Primeau.   Mitch currently holds a level 4 coaching certification with USA Hockey.

During Mitch's playing years, he was a goalie and played Tier I Hockey for the Philadelphia Little Flyers and Jr. Flyers Jr. B. (Squirt- Jr. B).  Mitch participated in the USA Hockey Select 16 camp, program and played in Hockey Night in Boston (#2 ranked goaltender in Tourney).  Mitch then went on to play Junior A in the Skaskatuan Junior A League.  Mitch, played for Nichols College and attended camp for the Detroit Vipers of the old IHL.

Magnus Ramstrom

Magnus is the Director of European Selects and current head coach for MB Hockey Junior A team in Stockholm.  Formerly Magnus was a head hockey instructor with the Djurgarden hockey program of the Swedish Elite League in Stockholm, Sweden.

His hockey coaching experience has helped ECS in recruiting top Swedish hockey players, and also in assisting our program in coordinating our European tours.  Magnus is also a amateur scout for International Scouting Services (ISS).

Magnus is a veteran instructor of the Selects Hockey Elite Camps and has been behind the bench for several showcase championship teams in recent seasons.

Justin Martin

A 7th round draft pick for the LA Kings, Justin has had extensive hockey playing experience including over 200 minor professional games.


After graduating from Essex High School in Vermont, as the 1993 Burlington Free Press VT player of the year with two state championships, Justin played a post-graduate year at the Taft School.  Justin then went onto play at UVM for four years1994-1998.  His time as a Catamount included a trip to the NCAA frozen four and an ECAC league championship.


In addition to his playing resume, Justin was assistant coach at Essex High School (Vermont) and head hockey coach at Rice Memorial High School (Vermont) for two years, both years taking the Green Knights to the state semi-finals.  Justin also serves as the Head Coach for the Green Mountain Glades Empire Jr. B Hockey team.  He has been the head instructor at Martin St. Louis All-American Hockey Camp for the past 9 years and also is the head coach of the ECS Team New England 1993 Team.


Justin has a total of 24 years of playing experience, with 9 years of on ice and off ice coaching.  Justin is also a NFTP certified personal trainer and level 5 USA Hockey certified.
